FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)
Blood Testing at Bee Well — FAQs
⏱ How long do results take?
Most blood test results are available within 3–5 working days after your sample is collected.
Some specialist or more detailed panels may take slightly longer, up to 7–10 working days.
Once your results are ready, they are reviewed by specialist doctors and then explained to you by your nurse, along with personalised guidance.
🩺 Who carries out the blood tests?
All blood tests are performed by registered nurses in clinic using venous blood sampling. This ensures accurate samples and reliable results.
👩⚕️ Who reviews my results?
Your blood samples are analysed by UK-accredited laboratories and reviewed by specialist doctors. Your nurse will then explain the results to you in a clear and supportive way and discuss appropriate next steps where needed.
💬 Will someone explain my results to me?
Yes. All blood test packages include a nurse explanation of your results, so you are not left trying to interpret medical numbers on your own. We will help you understand what your results mean for your health and wellbeing.
🧪 Do I need a consultation before booking a blood test?
If you already know which panel you would like, you may book directly.
If you are unsure which test is most suitable, we strongly recommend booking a nurse consultation so we can advise on the most appropriate testing based on your symptoms, goals and medical history.
💻 Are consultations in person or online?
Consultations can be carried out online or in clinic, depending on your preference and availability.
📅 Do I have to attend the clinic for the blood test?
Yes. All blood tests at Bee Well are performed in clinic using venous blood sampling by a registered nurse to ensure accurate and reliable results.
💉 Is the blood test painful?
Venous blood sampling involves a small needle in the arm. Most clients describe it as quick and only mildly uncomfortable, and the appointment usually takes just a few minutes.
🔁 Can I repeat blood tests to track progress?
Yes. Many clients choose to re-test after lifestyle changes, treatment plans or supplementation to monitor improvement and optimise long-term health.
🤍 Is my information kept confidential?
Absolutely. Your medical information and test results are handled in line with strict confidentiality and data protection regulations. Results are only shared with the healthcare professionals involved in your care.
❤️ Are sexual health tests confidential?
Yes. All sexual health screening is completely confidential and handled with the same medical privacy standards as all other tests.
🧬 What happens if something abnormal is found?
If your results indicate anything that requires medical follow-up, we will advise you appropriately. This may include lifestyle guidance, further testing, or recommendation to see your GP where necessary.
💊 Do you prescribe medication or supplements?
Blood testing helps identify areas that may benefit from lifestyle changes or supplementation. Any recommendations will be discussed with you. Prescription medications are not routinely supplied as part of blood testing services, and where appropriate, you may be advised to consult your GP or specialist.
🤰 Can I have blood tests if I am pregnant?
Some tests are suitable during pregnancy, while others are not recommended. Please book a consultation so we can advise you safely and appropriately.
📍 Where is Bee Well located?
Bee Well is based in Northwich, Cheshire, within the Bee brand wellness and aesthetics clinic.
❓ I’m not sure which test I need — what should I do?
